On May 18, 2023, at the invitation of theCCSL, Professor ZhuzhaoZhe of the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning at Beijing Normal University gave an academic report to the teachers and students of the base. The title of the report was "Brain Stimulation and Neural Regulation". This report was the fourth lecture of the "Fifth Academic Forum on Language Acquisition, Cognition and Brain Science" at the base, hosted by the deputy director of the base, Jiang Rong, and attended by all teachers and students of the base.
Professor ZhuChaoZhe's report mainly included the following contents. The first topic isan overview of brain stimulation and neural regulation. Second, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Third, transcranial brain atlas (TBA). Fourth, individualized brain network targeting atlas (iBNT). Fifth, transcranial navigation system (TBN). The report was fascinatingand the atmosphere on site was lively, greatly expanding the academic horizons of the teachers and students at the base. Everyone benefited greatly from the presentation.
In the question session, Professor ZhuChaozhe answered the students' questions in detail, and had an in-depth exchange and discussion with the teachers on "theBrainMechanism ofSecondLanguageAcquisition".
