On December 18, 2019, Researcher Hongyan Bi from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was invited here to give an academic lecture. This lecture, being as the tenth lecture of the "Language Recognition and Brain Science Lecture Series" of the Center, is entitled “Study on the Function of Large Visual Cell Pathway in Developmental Dyslexia in Chinese”. The lecture was chaired by Dr. Qun Yang, a researcher at the center.
The main contents of the lecture were as follows: First, a brief introduction to developmental dyslexia. Second, the general theory of developmental dyslexia. Third, Mr. Bi introduced the research group's study on the deficiencies of Chinese developmental dyslexia, progressively from general behavior to EEG to nuclear magnetic.
After the lecture, the teachers and students at the scene asked questions and Mr. Bi patiently answered. Everyone there said that it was indeed a fruitful day.
