Manuel Carreiras is the Scientific Director of BCBL, Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language. He is also currently Distinguished Professor at the University of College London, and guest Professor at Basque University. He received his PhD in Psychology, at the University of La Laguna in 1984. Mr. Carreiras has 25 yeas of research experience in centers in Spain, USA, United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia. His main research area is in Psycholinguistics. Neurocognition of Language. His has published widely in journals such as Nature, Cortex and NeuroImage. Manuel Carreiras is the editor of Frontiers in Language Sciences and the subeditor of Brain and Language.
