The Researcher Dr. Qun Yang from the CCSL was Invited to Attend the Chinese Ethnopsychology Forum


From November 15th to 17th, 2019, sponsored by the Department of Psychology of Renmin University of China, the National Key Research Base of National Language, Culture and Psychology of the National Civil Affairs Commission, the National Key Research Base of National Psychology and Education of the National Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, and the Ethnic Psychology Special Committee of Chinese Psychological Society, organized by Yunnan Society of Social Psychology and Dianxi Normal University of Science and Technology, the "Ethnical Psychology and Social Psychological Service in Ethnic Areas" and the 2019 Chinese Ethnopsychology Forum was successfully hosted.


More than 300 experts, scholars, and graduate students from the fields of psychology, ethnology, and education attended the forum. The topics covered in the forum include ethnic languages and education, ethnic exchanges and communication, ethnic psychological harmony in communities, ethnic solidarity and education, the system, content, goals and methods of social of psychological services in ethnic regions, mental health education in ethnic regions, applicable models of psychological consultation and treatment, psychological warfare response in border areas, innovative consciousness and enterprising spirit in ethnic cultural inheritance, and other ethnic psychological issues. Professor Yan Xu of Beijing Normal University, Professor Jijia Zhang of Renmin University of China, and Professor Xifu Zheng of South China Normal University made keynote speeches.


Dr. Qun Yang, a full-time researcher of our center, was invited to attend the meeting and gave a report entitled "Contextual Promotion Effect and Inhibition Mechanism in Ambiguity Resolution in Uygur and Han College Students"
