VIII. Call for Papers

The forum welcomes abstract and full paper submissions from fields including language acquisition, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, large language models (LLM), and Chinese and foreign language teaching. Interdisciplinary works are especially encouraged.


※There will be 3 forms of report in the Fourm: (1) Main forum presentations (30minutes per person); (2) Sub-forum presentations (15 minutes per person); (3) Poster session (1 hour). Please indicate your choice of the latter two methods when submitting abstracts or full papers via email.


Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract: 800 words or fewer

  • Formatting: • Title: Times New Roman, size 14 • Authors: Times New Roman, size 10.5 • Affiliations: Times New Roman, size 9 • Abstract: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing • Keywords: Maximum 5, Times New Roman, size 12

  • Full papers: Please follow standard academic formatting (details for full paper submission will be provided upon abstract acceptance)

  • Language: [Specify accepted language(s), e.g., English and Chinese]

All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review. Outstanding papers will be considered for publication by a national-level publisher. Participation is confirmed upon payment of the registration fee. 

Submission Process: Please send your abstract or full paper to clcb@blcu.edu.cn by September 30.The forum committee will review submissions, arrange presentations in appropriate sub-forums, and notify authors of the schedule.


IX. Forum Fees and Payment

1. Registration fees:

Students: 600 RMB (¥) per person

Faculty: 1200 RMB (¥) per person

Early registration (before September 20):

Students: 400 RMB (¥) per person

Faculty: 1000 RMB (¥) per person

2. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.

3. Please register and pay online by October 18. Participation is on a first-come, first -served basis for up to 100 attendees.

XI. Notes

1. Working languages: English or Chinese. Please note: The Powerpoint presentation used for the showcase must be in full English.

2. Registration fees are non-refundable for cancellations.

3. Students include PhD, master’s, and undergraduate students; postdoctoral researchers are not eligible for student discounts.

4. Invoices will be issued electronically after the forum and sent to the specified email addresses.
