CCSLIntroduction
The Language and Cognitive Science Innovative Talent IntroductionCCSL/Language Cognition Science Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education/Language Cognition Science Research Institute at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) is an international and open scientific research organization with "language cognitive science" as its discipline construction goal, primarily researching Chinese second language acquisition and cognition, language cognitive neuroscience, and language cognition and artificial intelligence.CCSLhas two research teams, international and domestic, with interdisciplinary cooperation among linguistics, psychology, cognitive science, and computer science to construct a new interdisciplinary subject - language cognitive science. By utilizing new technologies and methods in cognitive science research,CCSLexplores the behaviors and neural mechanisms of language acquisition and cognition by Chinese learners, promotes Chinese international communication, aligns with China's "Brain Project", and contributes to the innovation and construction of top-level and new liberal arts disciplines in BLCU.
Accepted Majors for Adjustment
Language Cognitive Science is the first cognitive science secondary discipline established in BLCU, which combines language acquisition, language cognition, and brain science to explore the behavioral and neural mechanisms of Chinese learner's language acquisition and cognition. Language Cognitive Science is an important research field that springs from the intersection of six supporting disciplines in cognitive science: linguistics, psychology, neuroscience, computer science, philosophy, and anthropology. Its scientific goal is to explore the mechanisms and rules behind the production, acquisition, and cognitive development of human language. Language Cognitive Science consists of three research directions: Chinese second language acquisition and cognition research, language cognitive neuroscience research, and language cognition and artificial intelligence research.
