The Research Graduate Student Association at CCSL Held an "Academic Experience Sharing Session".

In order to enhance the academic innovation awareness of the research graduate students at the base and effectively improve their academic research capabilities, the "Academic Experience Sharing Meeting" was held by the International Talent Introduction Base Graduate Student Association on the evening of May 29, 2023. Three invited guests for the sharing session were Sun Zhijun and Wang Huiping, both PhD students at the base, and Lin Simin, a master's student. The event was chaired by the president of the base research association, Wang Weiyi, and attended by all the research graduate students at the base.

During the sharing session, the three invited guests shared their learning and research experiences and provided detailed introductions and experience sharing on topics such as literature organization and reading, paper writing skills, academic tool utilization, research topics and project applications, and graduate student career planning. 


Lin Simin, who had been awarded a research grant project by the university in 2022, shared her experience on literature organization websites and software tools, how to plan graduate studies rationally, introduced research topic perspectives and project application precautions, and demonstrated how to use network tools for literature reading and summarizing. 


Wang Huiping, who was awarded a research grant project by the university in 2023, mainly shared her experience on literature reading and searching methods, paper writing practice skills, and recommended books and websites for paper writing guidance to her fellow students. 


Sun Zhijun, who was awarded a research grant project by the university in 2021 and had published multiple academic achievements in both Chinese and English academic journals, shared her difficulties encountered during her PhD studies and effective methods to overcome them based on her research experience. She actively encouraged junior graduate students to cherish existing resources, seize every opportunity to exercise themselves, and strive to achieve the goal of "no fear when young, no regrets when old". 


During the communication session, the attending students actively spoke and asked questions, and the three guests answered their questions carefully and meticulously based on their research experiences and insights. The sharing session was enthusiastic, and the research graduate students at the base gained rich learning methods and skills. The students gained a clearer understanding of the focus and learning goals that should be emphasized in each learning stage and expressed that they benefited greatly from the sharing session.
